Apple and Samsung’s Face Off in Court

http://topnews.us/images/imagecache/main_image/Apple-Samsung.jpgAs per reports, it has been revealed that Apple and Samsung will again be standing against each other in court. The latest hearing will decide that whether or not, the jury should change previous verdict that was announced in California's court.
It was in August that Apple levied claims on Samsung that it has infringed its patents of iPhone. However, the court announced the verdict in the favor of Apple, which also won $1bn in the form of damages.
Samsung was not at all happy with the decision, so it has again filed a plea in the court that the jury's verdict should be overturned. They have also said that the jury foreman has shown dishonesty while choosing the jury.
Samsung has gone further by saying that Velvin Hogan, the foreman, has intentionally concealed the information about a case in which he was involved. "Mr. Hogan's failure to disclose the Seagate suit raises issues of bias that Samsung should have been allowed to explore in questioning", said Samsung.
Samsung is also going to ask the jury to reduce the amount of damages, and should allow them to take on the case to the US appellate courts. However, on the other hand, Apple will ask to raise the amount of the damages
